FREE event - but everyone MUST collect a ticket in advance here on TicketCo, so we know how many are coming and can make sure it does not get too crowded.
Inside our beautiful barn we create a magical atmosphere. The ceiling is decorated with fairy lights, and through the large windows you can see Jordalen, the water and the mountains - like a magical backdrop. We put out mats and toys for the youngest children, and make arrangements for pleasant socialising and new acquaintances. There is a cloakroom, toilets and a warm changing room on the premises.
Please note: This is NOT a farm visit with riding or other activities with the animals, and unfortunately it is not permitted to go in to any of the animals on your own - either outside or inside.

The farm's skilled cooks and waiters are on duty, we serve you at the tables, and are happy to help warm baby food. Unfortunately outside food and drinks are not permitted, as we depend on sales in the café to continue running a café on our farm (baby food is fine).

We can make gluten and lactose-free alternatives, but need information about this by email to victoria@ovre-eide.no at least 24 hours in advance. We will also try to accommodate other allergies/needs, but not everything can be guaranteed. Please send information as early as possible to victoria@ovre-eide.no (at least 24 hours in advance).

CANCELLATION DEADLINE/FEE:
Unfortunately we have recently experienced that many guests collect free tickets to our postnatal meet-ups, it becomes fully booked with waiting lists, but then over half of the guests do not show up. You can compare it to inviting friends to dinner at your home. You plan, shop and look forward to your guests arriving. When they do not show up on the day you are terribly disappointed, and are left with lots of food that goes uneaten.
We have therefore found it necessary to introduce a cancellation fee. This is absolutely not about being unkind, but we lose all profit when so many do not cancel or do not show up. Those on the waiting list also do not get the chance to come. Since we have our own cook who prepares food based on the number of registered guests, there is also a great deal of food waste when many do not show up, which makes us very sad.
THE CANCELLATION FEE is set at NOK 150 per person. THE CANCELLATION DEADLINE is 24 hours before the event. If you notify us later than this, and we still manage to bring in people from the waiting list, you will of course not have to pay the cancellation fee.

Øvre-Eide Gård is located at the far end of Jordalsveien in Eidsvåg.
Our address is: Øvre-Eide 36, 5105 Eidsvåg i Åsane.
We encourage everyone to travel green and by public transport, as it is only a few minutes' walk from the bus stop Eidsvåg E39.
BY CAR:
From E39 take the exit towards Eidsvåg and follow the signs towards Jordal. Follow Jordalsveien past the cemetery, all the way until you drive over a cattle grid. AFTER the cattle grid, take the first road to the left, onto a gravel road.
PARKING:
- Option 1: At the very start of the gravel road there is a small gravel area on the right where you can park.
- Option 2: A little further along the gravel road, on the right, around a bend, there is a large red garage with a green gate. You can park on the entire gravel area in front of this large garage.
- Option 3: Along the white/red fence by the riding arena. Please note: Do not park in front of the horses' paddocks, and do not park in front of the private residences.
Please note: Photos and videos MAY be taken during the event for use in marketing of the farm. If you do not wish to appear in photos and videos, please inform the staff upon arrival.
